Jonathan and Brittany Beil Prayer Letter: We Are Now in Bangkok!Greetings from hot and humid Thailand! We are in the middle of summer here, and it seems like this is the hottest one we’ve experienced so far. Much has happened the last two months, and I’m excited to update you on what the Lord is doing.

As we transitioned to Bangkok, God graciously provided us a home to rent in a secure village. The neighborhood we are now in has more young families with whom we can practice our Thai, as well as some little Thai friends for our boys to play with. We also want to praise God for good health these past few weeks during our move. It was the hottest week of the year to move, but the Lord gave us a smooth moving day. We are grateful for those who came to help move boxes and pray for our traveling safety. We, of course, miss the church family in Hua Hin and will always cherish the memories made there.

We were required to leave the country to obtain our new visas, so at the end of March, we traveled to Laos for a few days. While there, I was able to vist and preach at Pastor Kampai’s church, a national pastor friend of mine. Most churches in Laos are “underground” due to communist restrictions and religious persecution. It’s amazing to see what God is doing and how the Gospel is going forth in Laos despite the hardship believers face. I also had the opportunity to visit and fellowship with a group of Bible college students who live out in the country while studying for the ministry. I thought the roads in Thailand were bad, but after experiencing the car-sized potholes in Laos, I’m thankful for how developed Thailand is! We left Laos encouraged and thankful for new friends in the Lord.

God also answered the prayer request for our visas! We both have been able to get an education visa through the school where we will be attending in a couple of weeks. Please pray for us as we double down on our language studies.

These past few weeks, we’ve had some extra time to visit some other ministries within a few-hour radius. Bro. Eddie Arold hosted his annual Youth Conference and gave me the opportunity to preach one of the sessions. We both live in the greater Bangkok area, but it took us over an hour to drive to his church. On the way, we passed millions and millions of people who have never been in a church or heard a clear Gospel presentation. The work to be done in this mega city alone is seemingly endless.

We have a burden for more churches to start here and all throughout Thailand and Southeast Asia. Please continue to pray for us. We desire for our Thai speaking ability to increase, for the people of Thailand to be saved, and most importantly for the Lord to be glorified. Thank you all for your continued prayers and support for our family.

In His service,

Jonathan, Brittany, Judah, & Archer Beil
