Jon Wrightson Prayer Letter: Thankful for Being RescuedFamily

Thank you for all your prayers and support, especially during these last few weeks. Annabelle has been doing well, but she was losing weight, and we couldn’t figure out why. We took her to the doctor, and she had to have a minor surgery for tongue- and lip-tie. She is doing much better now.

Soul Winning

I have met many folks, both rich and poor, who lost everything in the flooding, but they had one thing in common—thankfulness to those who rescued them when the water was rising. We are so incredibly blessed to live in the most amazing country on the planet. The number of volunteers was overwhelming. While in Jacksonville, we have had great soul-winning opportunities. I met Dominic, who was displaced because of the hurricane. I shared the Gospel with him, but he didn’t believe you could know you are saved. I then showed Him from the Bible how much we are loved by God, and His eyes lit up. He then explained that at the age of 13, he rode a bus to church in New Bern, North Carolina, and got saved. Praise God for the Bus Ministry! Scores of people will be in Heaven because someone loved them enough to pick them up for church.

Travels

With the new baby and Misty recovering, we only had one conference this month. We were at Lewis Avenue Baptist Church in Michigan. WOW! They truly have a heart for missions. We have been in several churches in North Carolina as well. We will hit the road hard again this month. Thank you for your prayers and support.
