Family
I am writing this from the beautiful state of West Virginia. The fall scenery is absolutely breathtaking. God’s wonder is all around us if we just take the time to notice. Our family is doing well. Thank you again for your faithful prayers and support.
Soul Winning
God is not weak. God is not slack. God has not forgotten His promises. The question is, do we believe them? If we do, then we must be about our Father’s business of winning souls. I have had great opportunities to share the love of God this month, but two stand out the most. While in West Virginia, I was privileged to go soul winning with a dear Christian who served in Vietnam the same years my father served. They were both in the Marine Corps as well. We led two folks to Christ. Jason was an Army veteran, who was extremely ripe for the harvest. Then we met Shantelle. She heard the Gospel as well and, after a few questions, trusted Christ as her dear Saviour.
Travels
This month, we have had some great meetings. While at a church in Maryland, we traveled over to Gettysburg and toured some of that national park. Wow! What a sobering piece of our nation’s history—50,000 men died in just 3 days! I had Misty and all the kids with me on that trip! It was very memorable for all of us to see this terrible piece of our nation’s history.
Special Needs and Prayer Requests
• Pray that we will learn Spanish.
• Pray for the people of Puerto Rico.
• Pray for the RV to sell.
