What a great generation in which to serve our Saviour! As we have the privilege to help missionaries all over the world through FBMI, it is fantastic to see how God is using missionaries full of His Spirit to reach people who desperately need the Gospel. I receive phone calls or emails often from missionaries whom I either get to help on the deputation trail or who are on the field. Thank you for allowing me to serve them.
The opportunity that I get at Hyles-Anderson College to train the next generation is a treasure for which I thank God. Please pray for me to have wisdom to help prepare them for what they will need to reach the area to which God has called them. God is still calling laborers to go to the regions beyond!
God has also blessed the adult Sunday school class in which I minister. We just finished our Fall Program this past Sunday, and we had at least 25 visitors in those 6 weeks. Thank you for praying for us. One family came 4 out of the 6 weeks. Please pray for them to be faithful. This past Sunday, 3 visitors from our class made public professions, and 2 followed the Lord in baptism.
Another couple, Lorenzo and his wife Jasmine, have been faithful almost the entire program. One Saturday night I called Lorenzo to remind him about class in the morning, and he told me that he had a favor to ask. The favor was that he wanted to know for sure he was going to Heaven, so I witnessed to him on the phone. The next day after he got saved, he and his newly saved son both got baptized. We are in the process of grounding them in the truth through God’s Word. Please pray that God will use them.
