Gregg Schoof Prayer Letter: Plain Ol' Hard WorkIt is so great to be serving the Lord! A lot of the time, it is just plain ol’ hard work, but we also had a lot of fun during these two months. We were able to set up a booth at a local trade fair in Kigali.

The fair was two weeks long from July 27 – August 11. We built a front table, decorated, put up banners, and even built a small remote broadcast studio, which you can see in the back. We sold t-shirts, bumper stickers, and our discipleship book. Every child who came by also got a piece of candy and a smiley face on their hand. We broadcasted live twice a day from the fair. We even interviewed people live from the studio and sometimes had a line of people waiting to be “live on air.”

What was really interesting was when Pastor Sadock talked to people about going to Heaven; they were so surprised about God’s amazing grace. We had 18 people trust Christ while there. I think we may have had more if it had been quieter. There was a bar on the other side of the tent wall that turned up their Devil music so loud that our walls were literally shaking!

We handed out 18,000 flyers that had the plan of salvation, church information, and a simple radio schedule. Every day we had people coming to greet us who had gotten saved from all over Rwanda because of the radio or because they just loved the messages we preach on the radio. God is really using this radio for His glory!

Thank you all so much for your prayers and support. These 2 months we saw 33 people trust Christ out soul winning, 18 professions, and 103 saved through the radio.

In His service,

Gregg, Angela, Caleb, Hannah, Timothy, Virginia, Micah, and Zachery Schoof
