Go Oishi Prayer Letter: Can't Wait to ArriveGlory to God! The longer we are on deputation, the more thankful we are for your prayer and financial support. There have been many instances where it was obvious that God was moving in miraculous ways, thanks to an army of co-laborers interceding for us.

On days that we do not have a meeting scheduled, we endeavor to go to a like-minded church that we have not been able to contact and try to be a blessing to that church. Such was the case when we visited a new but thriving work in Eastvale, California. It just so happened that the weekend we arrived was the beginning of their Missions-Emphasis Week! God opened the doors for us not just to attend their service but to go soul winning with them, teach Sunday school, and give a full presentation for the evening service at that church! A man named Jaime accepted Christ as Saviour while out soul winning and agreed to visit the church!

On Tuesday, the 21st, we embarked on a two-week survey trip to Japan. This was my wife’s first time in Japan, and I was overjoyed to see her excited about ministering there permanently. On Sunday, we had the privilege of attending the Tokorozawa Bible Baptist Church with my grandmother, whom I was able to lead to the Lord over the phone six years ago. It was an honor to meet Pastor Kurotaki, who carried on the work of the late Missionary Jim Norton, the man who planted the church. In a land with so few Gospel-preaching churches, it was an encouragement to spend time learning from this veteran national pastor, proving that it can be done!

The missions coordinator of our sending church, Pastor Mike Valdez, arrived on the 27th to join us on our survey trip. We are excited to report on what God does during our second week here in Japan in our September report! We will be meeting the pastor whom we will initially be working with, and we are absolutely thrilled! Thank you for your continued prayers!

In Christ,

Go and Danielle Oishi
