Go Oishi Prayer Letter: 42,000 Japanese Gospel Pamphlets Donated for the Olympics!I hope that you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. We had the privilege of spending Thanksgiving with my wife’s family this year, and we had a great time. During our short time home, we had the joy of presenting a Japanese Bible to Scottie, a young teenager from our sending church who is studying Japanese to one day be a missionary to Japan. Praise the Lord! He is still calling young men to reach the world!

We have been very busy, as planning for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Evangelization Missions Trip has been added to our regular work. God has showed His favor upon this endeavor, as early in November, we received a message from the Sword of the Lord Ministries stating that they are donating 42,000 Japanese copies of John R. Rice’s pamphlet What Must I Do to Be Saved? for this mission trip! A few days later, it was confirmed that our mission board, FBMI, will be co-hosting this trip! We look forward to announcing more details and recruiting soul winners soon!

I would like to share a very memorable experience we had in Ontario, California, this month. My wife and I had the privilege to go soul winning with a man named Milton in a predominantly Hispanic neighborhood. During one of Bro. Milton’s visits, I approached a man named Daniel, who was walking down the sidewalk. Daniel understood very little English. Thankfully, Bro. Milton was able to begin witnessing to him in Spanish after his visit was done. Now typically, I would begin praying for the salvation of whomever my partner is witnessing to; however, this time I could not help but pray that God would bring along an English-speaking soul whom I could witness to myself! Then sure enough, God answered my prayer and allowed me to meet and witness to a man named Tyrone just a few feet down the sidewalk. Glory to God! Both Tyrone and Daniel received Jesus as their Saviour that day!

God has given us a very full December with not a single open weekend! We are greatly thankful for you, the prayer warriors and faithful investors who make all this possible. We pray that you all have a very Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year.

Your friends and co-laborers to Japan,

Go and Danielle Oishi
