Elias and Robyn Correa Prayer Letter: Mission 2 MexicoNoteworthy News

Since our last prayer letter, we have shipped almost 1 million Scriptures to 9 countries (Botswana, Guatemala, Malawi, Mexico, Mozambique, Thailand, Tonga (first time), Venezuela, and Zambia). This brings our total so far this year to almost 16 million Scriptures in 21 languages to 36 countries! Remember, our goal is to ship 22 million Scriptures (getting there) to 22 nations (surpassed) on all continents (6/6).

In August, we had a marvelous Mission 2 Mexico trip, with 37,780 Scriptures distributed, 93 Bibles given to visitors, and 27 professions of faith. Please see pictures and testimony on Page 2. In September, we took a small team to Baltimore to help with a brand-new church plant. We were able to distribute around 11,500 Scriptures and flyers and see some visitors come, one of whom trusted Christ as Saviour.

In addition to the shipments mentioned above, we have upcoming shipments to New Zealand, Peru, India, and Samoa. We would love to have you join us for our 45th Anniversary Conference, October 17-19, at New Testament Baptist Church, in Butler, Pennsylvania (visitntbc.com).

Neal’s News

Robyn and I have been on the road and busy with meetings the past few months. We had been working in the Central Florida area, but we were forced to evacuate due to Hurricane Ian. Robyn was in Florida while I was traveling in Michigan. I made my way back to Florida as soon as possible to get Robyn and our travel camper and head to safety. It was our first hurricane encounter, so we evacuated to Southern Georgia. We are thankful for the Lord’s protection.

All of our children are doing well, for which we are very thankful. We are honored to serve as your missionaries and are ever grateful for your prayers and support.

Mission 2 Mexico – August 1-9, 2022

Testimony by Pastor Nevin Neal, Bonners Ferry, Idaho

Psalm 126:5-6 states, “They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.” As I pondered what I could and should say about our trip this past August to Valle de Santiago, Mexico, with Wings Bearing Precious Seed, I could think of no better text than Psalm 125:5-6.

As I reflected on the trip, and even as we were doing the work, the word joy repeatedly came to my mind. So many aspects of this trip have caused me, as well as many others, to rejoice. However, I am reminded of how many tears were shed on this trip and of how many have been shed in years past by many who participated in the work. Truly, we were able to observe the faithfulness of God’s Word demonstrated as we labored together in Valle de Santiago.

It was a joy to see a ministry, whose name is derived from Psalm 126:5-6, fulfilling the very truth contained in those verses. It was a joy to see multiple generations of family members serving together, to observe the fruit of local-church reproduction, to see seasoned saints laboring together with young Christians, and to see perfect strangers laboring together with genuine Biblical unity. It was a joy to see the King family fulfilling the Lord’s call on their lives and to see them strengthened by their fellow laborers. It was a joy to see God’s people weeping for souls and the need for laborers and to see them sing from their hearts as we rejoiced together. It was a joy to observe the Holy Spirit of God at work in the hearts of sinners and to see and hear of souls being won to Christ.

All these things that give so much joy are in some way the fruit of someone going forth and weeping, bearing precious seed. If you are deficient in joy, may I suggest that you allow the Lord of the harvest to enlist you in His service. Can I encourage you to get involved in taking the precious seed of God’s Word to those around you where you live and then be willing to allow Him to send you farther, as He sees fit? The sending forth will cause you, and perhaps those who love you, to weep, but the joy of reaping far outweighs the sorrow of sowing.

Praise God for . . .

Reaching Them Too in 2022

July:

Despite delays, the Scriptures arrived in Guanajuato, Mexico, in time for our trip in early August. Pray that they will continue to reach them, too, in the heart of Mexico.

August:

We shipped another container to Thailand. Pictured on the right are recipients of our last shipment to Southeast Asia earlier this year. Praise God, we are reaching them, too, in Southeast Asia.

September:

This is the first of two pallets being shipped to New Zealand, reaching our annual goal of shipping to every continent, reaching them, too, “. . . in the isles afar off . . . .” (Jeremiah 31:10)
