Happy 2017!
I love the reminder of a new year! It tells me how good God is and that He is merciful and gracious—and He is! This morning I was reading Psalm 103 and was reminded of His goodness. If God doesn’t do anything else for us in life, the fact that we who know Jesus are forgiven and Heaven-bound is more than we deserve. Yet God continues to pour out His blessings, so let’s praise Him!!
Souls for Jesus
It happened! 2016 ended with 108 souls in England coming to the Saviour! This year we would like to see more saved and baptised! So far in 2017, we have had 29 people bow their heads and trust Jesus for Heaven!
Visitors and Returning People
The year 2016 ended with 95 visitors coming to our church. This year we are at 18 visitors. Longevity is helping, as more and more people in our city are getting to know our family and church. We are getting a reputation as being biblically balanced with a warm welcome for all. This reputation helps, as God is expanding our outreach and voice into our needy community and nation. Please continue to pray, as Satan isn’t at all happy with these positive developments. Recently we had a man come to our church who I have known for years. He didn’t seem interested at first, but then one day he showed up out of the blue to a service. Now he comes faithfully to the meetings and activities of our church. He has also recently trusted Christ for Heaven. Longevity is the key! Thanks for praying and helping through the years. Light is breaking through the clouds of unbelief in Britain!
Can I Say, Wow?!
Thanks for the generous giving recently! We have an amazing group of financial supporters who pray for us. We realize that it is the hand of God that supplies our needs, and we will not forget all His benefits. Mary Beth is healing and walking normally. Daniel is doing well in his sophomore classes at Hyles-Anderson. Our Josh is getting ready to attend HAC in the fall. Jeremy
is doing well with his piano and studies. We are grateful to God, but we are also grateful to you. You just make us want to see more done for the cause of Jesus. Thanks so much, and God bless you all into 2017.
