We are so thrilled and excited about what God is doing, and we are so grateful for all your faithfulness in your love, prayers, and support that are helping us to reach precious souls for the Lord Jesus Christ.
Many of you know that one of the desires of my heart is to take a group of young people from good Bible institutes down here in Mexico to travel with me to help churches in evangelistic campaigns from time to time. This summer God gave me the privilege of taking 11 students with me for about 17 days. Every few days we were in a different church, so we were with 5 churches in that time. Every day we were doing something to reach others for Christ, and the majority of the days, we did several evangelistic clubs, starting in the morning and going until late at night.
The pastors and churches were so thrilled and excited as we worked together with them to reach a great harvest of souls for the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ. God blessed this trip; and, praise the Lord, over 5,000 precious souls trusted Christ as their Saviour. To God be all the glory! Once again, thank you for your love, prayers, and support that are helping us to continue to reach precious souls for the Lord.
My friends, I have always believed and have mentioned before that the Spanish-speaking countries are, for the most part, very open to the Gospel of Christ; and if we could raise up more evangelists to preach Christ to the multitudes, then we could see a great harvest of souls for the Lord. Therefore, I was very excited when I had the opportunity to do an evangelistic campaign in the country of El Salvador again. The Lord blessed and provided the time and the finances to do so. In the short time I was there, we were able to preach in public schools; and, praise the Lord, over 1,800 people trusted Christ as their Saviour!
Jesus said, “The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.” My friends, we are seeing people commit their lives to do the work of an evangelist, and others are surrendering their lives to actually be evangelists. So please pray fervently with us that the Lord would raise up more fiery evangelists to preach Christ to the multitudes, help build and start churches, raise up more full-time Christian servants, and train churches to be more effective soul winners for the glory of Christ.
The Lord Jesus Christ said, “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” So thank you so much for helping us to reach others for the Lord.
