Season’s greetings from our family to yours! The Bible says, “And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.” The greatest gift that has ever been given was the Lord Jesus Christ, Who was born, died, and rose again so that we could go to Heaven. What a privilege we have to declare this message to the world!
There is nothing greater than living for Jesus and telling others the good news about His birth, death, burial, and resurrection to give us eternal life! The Lord has been so good to us, allowing us to reach thousands of people for the Lord Jesus Christ, but there is so much more to do to take the Gospel into the whole world, as the Lord Jesus has commanded us. As we celebrate this wonderful season, let us remember that we have the greatest opportunity in the world—preaching the Gospel of Christ.
I was preaching in Monterrey, helping a church in an evangelistic campaign with hundreds of people saved. A young evangelist, who has traveled with me to learn, was in another part of the city and asked if I could come help him in an evangelistic campaign. I said I could only help him out for one day because of my schedule, but the Lord blessed in a powerful way. We preached the Gospel to around 480 people, with over 350 people trusting Christ as their Saviour. Praise the Lord! To God be all the glory!
By the way, this same young evangelist, Manolo, who traveled with me to learn, did an evangelistic campaign himself this past summer, taking several people with him to be a blessing and help churches reach the multitudes for Christ, as I have done many times. Well, the Lord surely blesses the preaching of the Gospel when we uplift Christ, and this young evangelist, with his team, reached over 10,000 people for Christ! Another young evangelist named Sergio, who traveled with me for several months, was able to go to Ecuador, and the Lord has used him to reach many people for Christ.
My friends, we desperately need more evangelists, and we all need to do the work of an evangelist, taking the Gospel to the lost. Please continue to pray with us for more fiery evangelists to be raised up to preach Christ to the multitudes, help build and start churches, raise up more full-time servants, and train churches to be more effective soul winners for the glory of Christ. Let’s take the Gospel to the world!
