Daniel and Rachel Solt Prayer Letter: Safety During Our Three-Month JourneyWe are praising the Lord for the safety He provided during our 5,500-mile loop, three-month journey from Chicago to Los Angeles and back again. We are so thankful that our car has not experienced any major issues. On that note, a sweet couple in Arizona helped us with some preventive maintenance while we stayed with them—another answer to prayer! Your prayers are essential!

We started off February in sunny Anthem, Arizona, for the Missions Conference at Sun Valley Baptist Church. We enjoyed a wonderful time with Pastor Moffitt, the church family, and Dr. Sisk, who was the keynote speaker. On Wednesday night, we were able to be with Metropolitan Baptist Church, pastored by Vernon Lovelady, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Bro. Lovelady and his wife served alongside my family two decades ago at Park View Baptist Church in London, and it was such a joy to see them again and the church that God led them to plant in Albuquerque.

From New Mexico, we drove to Arkansas City, Kansas, to be with Hillcrest Bible Baptist Church. We enjoyed attending their Valentine Banquet and being involved in their Sunday services. Pastor Yoder and the people there were so kind to us. God is good! The upcoming Wednesday night was spent at Faith Baptist Church in Bourbonnais, Illinois. Once again, Pastor Anglea and the church family were a blessing to our family.

The following weekend, we were with Faith Baptist Church in Posen, Illinois. We had a blast with them! Pastor Stedman graciously gave me the opportunity to present and teach Sunday school. From Illinois, we drove up to Belleville, Michigan, to be with Pastor Vaprezsan and Metro Baptist Church. It was an honor to present and preach the evening service, and the people there were so kind to our family.

Soul Report

In the month of February, we were able to present the Gospel to three souls. I met Katy while out soul winning five blocks away from Faith Baptist Church in Posen, Illinois. Despite the cold, she listened to a full presentation of the Gospel. Katy has been involved in Catholic beliefs her entire life, and when conviction set in, she became hesitant to release her faith in a false religion and place her faith in Christ. Please pray for Katy. She is so close to a Gospel-preaching church, and it would be horrible to be so close yet still spend an eternity in Hell.

Family Update

The word travel took on a whole new meaning for us this winter with all the miles we have traveled. Despite the challenges, I am so grateful that the Lord gave me a patient wife and sweet daughter. God has allowed us not only to experience meetings together, but also opportunities to make fun family memories and visit distant family that we have not seen in years. Praise the Lord! Four more churches took us on for support this month! Thank you for holding us up in prayer and for continuing to hold the ropes in financial support!

Prayer Requests

1. Opportunities to present the Gospel
2. Wisdom as we continue to book meetings
3. Ruby’s British citizenship application—we had a slight hiccup this month; please keep praying.

May our lives glorify Him,

Daniel, Rachel, and Ruby Solt
