Christopher Sage Prayer Letter: So Is a Man to His PraiseThank you for your prayers. The past two months have been truly amazing here in the United States! Proverbs 27:21 says, “As the fining pot for silver, and the furnace for gold; so is a man to his praise.” It is impossible not to be encouraged while visiting the churches here in the United States. How proud I am to be a Christian in a country where so many are so concerned with the Great Commission and getting the Gospel to the uttermost part of the earth.

I have been amazed at how the Lord has taken up the need for more personal support and for the new church plants! Several churches have already voted me into their missionary families, and several others have said that they are hoping to do so. The love offerings have also been generous, which will also help with the many expenses of missionary life.

It has been a blessing to be used of the Lord in preaching the Word of God and in soul winning during the trip. Several people have made decisions, and it seems like the Lord has been in the preaching. In one church, I had the wonderful opportunity of preaching four times on Sunday between the Spanish and English churches. It has been wonderful to make new friends and enlist new prayer support for the church planting in Mexico. The prayers of God’s people will accomplish more than all the money in the world!

The Lord did give direction for the year ahead, as He is leading me to help a new church get started in January in the city of Queretaro, Mexico.

In the next two months, the Lord has me scheduled from New Mexico to upper Wisconsin and then to Ohio, North Carolina, Georgia, Indiana, Illinois, and Texas before returning to Mexico in mid-December.

Prayer Requests

1. The fullness and power of the Holy Spirit in my life to be a blessing to the churches in the United States
2. More regular monthly support
3. The new church plant in Queretaro this coming January

Yours for souls,

Christopher Sage
