Christopher Sage Prayer Letter: 26th Anniversary CelebrationWe had our 26th Anniversary Conference in the first part of May, and we had close to 60 pastors attend. There was also a former pastor in attendance who expressed some interest in pastoring one of our new church plants. His pastor gave a good recommendation, and he will be coming to preach for us in San Agustin in June.

I also had the privilege to spend some time with Dr. Kevin Wynne during the conference, and he thinks it a good idea to have a group come from Mexico City to help us with the new church plants, as well as prospective pastors to see if it would be God’s will for one of them to pastor one of our new churches.

s1We had a group from the United States come to visit us in May. Evangelist Darrell Ratcliff also joined us to do some Bible Clubs and rallies at our three new church plants. My biggest responsibility here is church planting. Pastor Murillo really seemed to champion the cause, and it was exciting to see many of the people of our church and the children’s home get involved. We had a total of 87 workers. Our young people dressed up as Winnie the Pooh, Mickey Mouse, and many other such characters. Brother Ratcliff also brought a number of inflatable, carnival-type attractions to set up, and it really got the attention of the people. It was thrilling to see the Lord work! A total of 3,248 people heard the Gospel that week, and a total of 2,125 responded to it. Each new church plant was left with a long list of names and addresses to follow up on. Please pray for our new church plants, the follow-up, soul winning, and discipleship work. Pray also that the Lord will give me wisdom to provide help and encouragement.

Again, thank you for your prayers and support.

Yours in Christ,

Chris Sage
