It is a wonderful thing to serve the Lord and follow Him! Being involved in the new church plants brings something new every day.
On July 19, we had a “Big Day” at one of our new church plants, and we had close to 100 in attendance, with 30 people making decisions to be saved. The same night was our one-year anniversary at another one of our new church plants. Without much in the way of special incentives, we had a very good attendance there also, with a number of salvation decisions and 4 baptisms.
Please pray for me, as I will be the pastor of one of our new church plants for the next few months. One of our pastors decided he needed to raise more money for his family, and he left to do more deputation. The church is quite young and tender. He has done a great job in getting the church started, and there are 20-30 people attending faithfully. Please pray for me and for this new church plant at this critical time. I need wisdom such as I have not had before. I have included a photo of the church I will be pastoring below.
The total number of souls I have personally led to the Lord in the past two months has been 188. I try to be as thorough as possible with each of them, and I teach those involved in the soul-winning groups I serve to do the same. The total number of souls saved in the groups I serve in the past two months has been 415. That makes a total of 603. Please pray for their spiritual growth.
