Thank you so much for your prayers and support over the past two months. The Lord has done some marvelous things! The last week of January, we had the privilege of being part of a one-week team for an evangelistic campaign in the southern state of Tabasco. The Lord gave us 138 saved that week, with 11 first-time visitors in church and 35 other visitors. We ate alligator that week and caught an iguana. It is an adventure to serve the Lord!
In February, I got to teach a one-week intensive class on prayer. Dr. Tom Williams talked and prayed with me for over two hours that week, and the Lord seemed to send a little awakening to our graduating seniors; there seems to be a little “going in the tops of the mulberry trees.” Some of our students are earnestly seeking the fullness and power of the Spirit. The second week will be in April.
The Lord also gave us 3 more baptisms at home before going to help a new church get started in a small town about 3 hours away. The Grand Opening was March 5, and the Lord has given us 3 or 4 families that have been attending faithfully, along with 1 baptism. He is working wonderfully in Jaral. By the grace of God, we will be there until the first long-term church-planting team in June, July, and August.
During the chapel service on March 7, Pastor Ramos mentioned the need for workers to be a part of the team this summer, and 27 of our college students responded. We need to limit the team to 10 workers. One of our supporting churches gave us $5,000 for the team this summer at a Missions Conference in August. We were only planning on a 6-member team. It is wonderful to have the extra workers, but with that have come extra expenses. We are about $3,000 short of what is needed for basics. If you would like to help, it would be a great investment in eternity and bring much glory to our greatly deserving, wonderful heavenly Father (John 15:16).

Muchas gracias por sus oraciones y apoyo durante los últimos dos meses. ¡El Señor ha hecho algunas cosas maravillosas! La última semana de enero, tuvimos el privilegio de ser parte de un equipo de una semana para una campaña evangelística en el estado de Tabasco. El Señor nos dio 138 salvos esa semana, con 11 visitantes por primera vez en la iglesia y otros 35 visitantes. Comimos cocodrilo esa semana y atrapamos una iguana. ¡Es una aventura servir al Señor!
En febrero, pude enseñar una clase intensiva de una semana sobre la oración. El Dr. Tom Williams habló y oró conmigo durante más de dos horas esa semana, y el Señor pareció enviar un pequeño despertar a nuestros estudiantes de último año que se gradúan; Parece que hay un poco de “ruido como de marcha por las copas de las balsameras”. Algunos de nuestros estudiantes están buscando fervientemente la plenitud y el poder del Espíritu. La segunda semana será en abril.
El Señor también nos dio 3 bautismos más en San Luis Potosí antes de ir a ayudar a una nueva iglesia a comenzar en un pequeño pueblo a unas 3 horas de distancia. La Gran Inauguración fue el 5 de marzo, y el Señor nos ha dado 3 o 4 familias que han estado asistiendo fielmente, junto con 1 bautismo. El Señor está trabajando maravillosamente en Jaral. Por la gracia de Dios, estaremos allí hasta el primer equipo de plantación de iglesias a largo plazo en junio, julio y agosto.
Durante el servicio de la capilla el 7 de marzo, el pastor Ramos mencionó la necesidad de que los trabajadores sean parte del equipo este verano, y 27 de nuestros estudiantes universitarios respondieron. Necesitamos limitar el equipo a 10 trabajadores. Una de nuestras iglesias de apoyo nos dio $5,000 para el equipo este verano en una Conferencia de Misiones en agosto. Solo estábamos planeando un equipo de 6 miembros. Es maravilloso tener los trabajadores adicionales, pero con eso han venido los gastos adicionales. Nos faltan aproximadamente $ 3,000 de lo que se necesita para lo básico. Si desea ayudar, sería una gran inversión en la eternidad y traería mucha gloria a nuestro maravilloso Padre celestial (Juan 15:16).
