Charlie Vest Prayer Letter: We're Back in the Philippines! We bring greetings once again from the Philippines! We have relocated back to General Santos City, Mindanao. We arrived on April 23 and have finally settled into our new home and are continuing the work of A.W.B.M from this city of almost 1 million souls. In just a few days, I will travel to Thailand for a soul- winning conference and to help promote the Teaching All Nations (TAN) program to some Asian pastors.

We are so excited at all that the Lord has allowed us to do in just the past two months. Since arriving here, we have been able to speak in a few churches and present TAN. We have a total of 79 pastors here on Mindanao and on Negros interested in starting Bible colleges. Two have already started using the materials. We will now begin to meet individually with these men and help them begin to use the materials. Some are also using the Foundations of My Faith discipleship lessons from FBC.

After receiving a gift from a fine Christian couple, Bro. Thaung has begun the construction of the Bible college in Burma. Kay, Bri, and I have planned a trip to Burma and Thailand in September to visit with the many church-planting pastors we support through A.W.B.M. Please pray that God will provide the $4,000 airfare needed to travel there. Plans are also in the works for our annual A.W.B.M. missions conference in Bacolod City in January of next year. We hope to have a visiting church from the United States to be a part of the conference and a school soul-winning blitz.

Kay and Brianna have adjusted well and are getting settled into a regular routine with setting up house and homeschooling. God has miraculously provided another dog for Brianna that looks almost exactly like the one she left behind. We also have a sales contract on our house in Gaylord, Michigan, and hope to have it closed by the middle of July.

Please continue to pray as we get settled in here and travel to promote TAN and A.W.B.M. I have had a recent bout with a sinus infection and would appreciate your prayers, as this was one reason we had to leave three years ago. It is also much hotter here, as we are closer to the equator. Oh, the joys of getting old!
