Charles Osgood Prayer Letter: New AdditionsThank you for your prayers and support!

Fundamental Baptist Church of Barekuma

It is a blessing to have the work progressing on our church building in Barekuma! Currently, we are in the process of adding a front porch.

More important than additions to our building are the additions to our church family. We praise the Lord for the successful delivery of the newborn son of Thomas and Cecilia Moah! They asked me if they could name their son, Charles, in my honor. I was very humbled that they would choose to name their son after me. Please pray for Bro. Thomas, as he does the teaching and preaching each Sunday. He is very faithful to preach the Gospel and lead souls to Christ. Pray also for the growth of the converts in Barekuma.

Recently, I was able to meet with the Chief of Barekuma in his home. We had a good meeting about the paperwork for our church land. I asked him if I could come back and do a Bible study about salvation with him. He said he would be happy for me to do so. Please pray that I will have the opportunity to share the Gospel with him and that he will get saved.

Soul Winning

A few weeks ago while out soul winning, I followed up on a new convert named Emmanuel, who runs a barbershop. He had been led to Christ by one of our church members, and I was trying to get him to come to church. While at his shop, I met Peter and Eric, two of his friends. They gladly listened to the Gospel and trusted Christ as their Saviour! Peter and Emmanuel came to church the following day, and they both came again last week. They both have a desire to join our church. I am planning to visit them this Friday to teach them about baptism. Please pray for them to follow the Lord in baptism and become disciples of Christ.

In December, I was able to lead Helen Mensah, a young lady who lives near our church, to Christ. She has since been baptized, joined the church, and started working on our discipleship lessons. Please pray for her to grow.
A few months ago, I told you about my neighbor Thelma and her son Simon trusting Christ and following the Lord in baptism. Recently, Lindsey was able to lead Thelma’s daughter Naomi to Christ! She followed the Lord in baptism in January.

The harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few! Please pray for God to use us to reach more souls for Him that we can train to become laborers in His harvest.

In Christ,

Charles, Lindsey, and Josiah Osgood
