Prayer Camp
In early December I was able to attend a Prayer Camp hosted by fellow missionary Mike Williams. I was able to bring with me Thomas Moah and Thomas Opoku, two men from our church in Barekuma. Dr. Bob Hooker (Bro. Mike’s father-in-law) was the speaker, and his messages were a great help to all of us.
We were able to spend much time in prayer and Bible study .during the camp. The camp was held on a beautiful lake. It was such a blessing and refreshment to get away for a few days and spend time in nature fellowshipping with God.
Singles’ Department
On Christmas Day we had a special outing with many of our church singles (picture on left). It is a blessing to see some of our singles date and marry in our church. We had two weddings in December and January, a wedding scheduled for April, and one scheduled for this fall. A great joy of serving for many years here is being able to see young people grow up in our church, get married, and establish a Christian home.
Fundamental Baptist Church of Barekuma
FBC Barekuma has been growing! We have had several visitors in the last few months and many saved, and we are preparing to baptize these new believers! Also, we thank the Lord for the progress made on our church building. Last week the roof was put on (picture on right), and we look forward to when we are able to move into the new building!
