Pastors’ and Workers’ Conference
August 18-21, we hosted our 9th Annual Pastors’ and Workers’ Conference. It was a phenomenal conference! Pastor Marvin Smith was our special speaker, and he was a huge help to our church members and delegates.
About 200 people registered for the conference. We had delegates from most of the regions in Ghana, as well as from Nigeria. Each evening there were about 400 people in attendance.
On September 27, we had a special day at our church. Leading up to our big day, we had extra times of visitation where we went out into the communities near our church to give invitation cards and fliers to every adult we met. Our church members distributed several thousand invitation cards and fliers.
It was great to see many of our church members get involved to invite others to this program. Over 500 teen and adult visitors came to church, and we had a total attendance of over 1,300 people! To God be the glory! Please pray that we will be able to follow up on these prospects, win them to Christ, and help them get established in the church.
Fundamental Baptist Church of Barekuma
Two weeks ago I was able to lead a man named Kofi Nti Amoah to Christ. Kofi was 62 years old. He had attended a Catholic church his whole life. He followed the Lord in baptism last Saturday, along with 4 other converts! Please continue to pray for the growth of these new converts in Barekuma.
We also praise God for the progress being made on the construction of our church building! We hope to be meeting in our new building within two months. Special thanks to First Baptist Church of South Brevard for providing the needed finances. May we follow their example of giving liberally! God is so good to us!!!
