These past few months have been quite busy. We have entered new stages in our deputation process, as well as new chapters for our family. Over the last few months, we have been a part of 12 Missions Conferences and Missions-Emphasis Services. It was an honor to be with each of these churches. Many have already partnered with us in the ministry, bringing us much closer to our goal.
It is exciting to see everything God has been doing at our meetings. I believe I have two goals on deputation. The first is to raise our support to get to the field, and the other is to help stir the hearts of the people for missions. Since we have started deputation, we have seen 32 teenagers, young adults, and even married couples surrender to be missionaries. I know this is not our doing—it is all God, but I am glad to be a part of what God is doing. Please pray for these 32 people to continue to follow God and find where they should go.
We entered the next chapter in our family this month. Our daughter, Callie Michelle Newton, was born on March 12. She was 6 pounds 15 ounces, definitely making her our smallest baby thus far. She and Melissa are both healthy and doing well, and the boys are smitten by her. They rarely want to leave her side. Please pray for Melissa’s recovery, and pray as we begin to travel with a newborn again.
Once again, thank you for all your prayers and support. Without you, we would not be able to do what we do, and it does not go unnoticed.
In His service,
The Newton Family
