Brian Hebert Prayer Letter: Wrapping Up a Productive YearWe are eternally grateful to the Lord and to all of you for a great year. Looking back at our records for the year, I was incredulous to see some of the places we had been only a year ago. Many parts of this year have flown by, while some parts seem so long ago. It has been an eye-opening year for sure, with many lessons learned along the way. Thank you all for your prayers and hospitality. Thank you for taking care of us while we were with you, whether it was this year or last. You have all been an integral part of teaching me to live by faith and to lean on God’s mighty arm.

In December we had a couple of meetings. It was not as many as I’d like to have, but I truly believe the Lord knew we needed a break from travel. As you probably know, the last three months of the year were not only extremely busy, but they were also very productive with increased support. This left us worn out physically, so a break was exponentially helpful. At the beginning of the month, we had the privilege of presenting our ministry to Pastor Blackstock and the folks at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Dawsonville, Georgia. They have such an exciting ministry, with many facets that all point people to Jesus. Pay attention to them—they are making a big impact in the world for the Gospel! Our next meeting was a little later at Sure Foundation Baptist Church in Randleman, North Carolina. Pastor Jeff Broadstreet and his wife Sandra are friends of ours from many meetings ago when they were at another church. The Lord moved them to Randleman, and it was such a blessing to meet them again and to present our work to this wonderful congregation of believers. Most of our month was spent planning for next year, scheduling conferences and meetings. The Lord blessed greatly in allowing us to schedule numerous meetings this past month.

We praise God for souls saved this year, folks called to preach, and numerous Gospel presentations across the country, from Minnesota to Florida and New Hampshire to Louisiana. I presented our ministry 57 times this year, preached 51 times, and traveled over 25,000 miles! Our support level has increased to 38% actual support; but, with numerous churches recently agreeing to take us on, we are likely to be close to 50% when all the support comes in. I’m amazed that God would not only save me but that He would also use me for His kingdom’s glory. As we march into this new year, please pray for us. Pray for the open dates in our calendar to be filled with churches that will partner with us in the ministry. Pray for our spiritual growth and continued direction in our future ministry in Toronto. Please pray with us about unsaved family members in both of our families. My heart is so heavy, as I see the imminent return of the Lord and know what they will face in eternity without Christ. Pray that we can make significant strides in our support this year; I’m hoping we can finish in 3-3½ years total. Jesus is coming soon, friends! Please pray for us to be used to warn lost souls of eternity to come.

Thanks to Calvary,

Brian Hebert
