Brian and Liesl George Prayer Letter: Missions Conference in Our Home ChurchMany greetings to you! Thank you for your prayers and support.

We were present for the Missions Conference, “He Is Worthy,” at Marion Avenue Baptist Church in Washington, Iowa, August 25-28, with Pastor Adam Thompson and Pastor Matt Miller! Pastor Joe Brown is leading the church to give to missions and reach this world for Christ! This is a giving church that loves missionaries. This is my home church. On Friday, they took us to a dairy farm and on a hayride. For lunch, Pastor Brown took us to an Amish home to eat a home-cooked meal; we also went for a buggy ride! On Saturday, the church had an International Dinner with food from Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America. The European group won the competition with a paella from Spain. My daughter Rose dressed up for the occasion with an outfit from Spain. Praise the Lord for Marion Avenue Baptist Church. Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ is worthy!

We were able to take some days off for our 30th wedding anniversary! We drove six hours and spent seven days in Branson, Missouri. We stayed in a log cabin. We visited the Butterfly Palace, the Freedom Encounter, Sight & Sound, and Faith Baptist Church in Stockton, Missouri. We also did some shopping and ate out once a day at a restaurant! We had a great time together!

Our son Samuel was married on the 1st of October! It was a fun to spend time with family and to see Samuel marry Hannah Porter. We are super excited for them. Samuel will work a job in the area and keep serving the Lord in the Bus Ministry of Marion Avenue Baptist Church.

While we are in the USA, we are visiting some supporting churches, getting doctor’s checkups, getting dental work done, getting our eyes checked and glasses purchased, getting registered to vote, renewing our driver’s license, renewing our passports, getting a new prayer card done, visiting relatives, going soul winning, shopping for clothing, and purchasing supplies and equipment needed back in Argentina. Every day is super busy with a lot of exciting things to do.

We just ordered 100,000 full-color Gospel tracts to be passed out in Argentina. I’m in contact with a print shop in Salta, Argentina, that will print and mail out the tracts to pastors who are ready to pass them out. We continue to print Evangelist Caleb Garraway’s tracts. Each Gospel tract costs $0.03. Please pray for this ministry. We plan to print many more as the funds become available.
Our home base while we are in the States is 614 North Iowa Avenue, Washington, IA 52353. My cell phone number is 319.331.4934. We will be at this address until March of 2023.

During the first week of December, I will fly back to Argentina for our National Pastors’ Conference! I will go by myself. This year we will have Dr. Ezequiel Salazar, Dr. John Wilkerson, and Pastor Bob Walker as our special conference speakers. Our goal is to have 50 pastors from Argentina attend the training sessions. We are praying for revival!! Our goal and prayer is to start many more new churches and reach Argentina for Christ!

May God bless you richly!

Here to serve,
