Brandon Heselschwerdt Prayer Letter: God Has Been So Good to Us!God has been so good to us this past month, and we’re excited to share some of the things God is doing through us on your behalf. The second weekend of January was very exciting. It started on Friday morning with Hannah waking up after having a nightmare that the “Snake” (Satan) had gotten her and that she could not leave Hell. My wife and I went through the Gospel with her and told her that in Jesus she would never have to fear the “Snake” or Hell. We then prayed through the sinner’s prayer with her, and she asked Jesus to save her. Praise the Lord!

Saturday night I was blessed to have dinner with my beautiful wife in celebration of our 6th anniversary. And did I mention—it was without kids! Amen. We had a great night of just thanking God for the years He has blessed us with.

On Sunday we dropped in at Battle Creek Baptist Temple and spent the entire day with Pastor Dye and his daughter Hannah. We had a wonderful day of fellowship and look forward to the time we will be with them again in October when we go back to present the Lord’s work in Kenya. Thank you, Pastor Dye, Miss Hannah, and all those at BCBT for your hospitality and fellowship.

We are excited to say that many of the drop-ins we have had this past month have turned into scheduled meetings for us to come back and present the need for the Gospel in Kenya, East Africa. We are excited and blessed to see God moving and opening doors for us to present the ministry. We ask that you would please pray with us that the upcoming meetings would turn into churches partnering beside us to help us reach the lost in Kenya, East Africa.

We are happy to give you all an update on my Grandma Mary as well. She continues to read through the discipleship books and continues to grow as she works through them. We do ask for prayer, though, on the subject of true biblical baptism. She was raised Catholic and Lutheran and is having some difficulty opening up to baptism by immersion being the only true baptism after one is saved. Pray that, through gentleness, patience, and the Holy Spirit, her eyes will be opened and her heart softened to this biblical truth.

Lastly, we ended our month at Calvary Baptist Church in Dundee, Michigan, with Pastor Brown. On Saturday out soul winning, we met a man named Robert. We invited him to church and asked him if he had ever received Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour. He was not 100% sure, and we were able to show him through the Scriptures how to know for sure. Praise God! Robert called upon Christ to save him, and now one more soul is on his way to Heaven. Amen! Sunday was a fun-filled day as well spending the day with Pastor Brown, his family, and CBC.

Thank you for all your prayers and support. We look forward to what God continues to do through us on your behalf. Thank you and God bless.

Your co-labourers for lost souls in East Africa,

Brandon, Ali, Jeffrey, Hannah, & Esther Heselschwerdt
