The greatest wonder of the world is the Word of God, yet half of the world has never seen nor heard God’s gift to all men. “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Romans 10:17)
As I continue to travel to Baptist churches in East Texas, the Lord continues to meet the need of supplying the Word of God for Southeast Asian converts. We are so thankful to churches and individuals who allow God to use them to meet this great need.
Some of my faithful supporters have asked me what my goals are for 2018. I put pen to paper and figured up the cost of sending two containers of Scriptures to Thailand this year. B.E.S.T. Ministry spent $60,000 to supply Bibles to Southeast Asia. This includes printing, shipping, and distribution. That is an average of $5,000 per month out of our monthly support. I don’t think the Lord wants us to do any less in 2018.
I started printing Bibles in Thailand two years ago. We can print a better quality Bible there at one-third the cost of printing them in America, and we don’t have the expense of shipping and custom fees to deal with. By using the B.E.S.T. Ministry to print Bibles in Thailand, we can more than double the number of Bibles we can supply to converts so they can have their very own Bibles.
Enclosed is an envelope for B.E.S.T. Ministry. If you would consider supplying a Bible for a believer where no Bibles are available, please help us with this need. Every dime donated to B.E.S.T. is used to print and supply the Word of God to believers of Southeast Asia. I cannot thank you enough for your faithful support.
I believe that every local New Testament Baptist church should be involved in publishing the Word of God. God has given us the task of providing Scripture to the local church. There are several good ministries in America where you can invest in publishing the Word of God, or you could do like First Baptist Church in Milford, Ohio, and start printing your own Bibles and Scriptures.
When you invest in the Word of God, you are investing in eternity. This is a wonderful time of the year to give to those who have no knowledge of our God.
