Baraka Hall Prayer Letter: We Are Here!Hello from Ghana! First, we praise God for EVERYTHING He has done to get us here. He has used so many of you, through prayer and giving, to support us all along the way. Please know that you are not forgotten. Each place where we visited and presented has such a special place in our hearts. We look forward to the day when we can return and report on your investments. We also want to take time for a HUGE shout out to the members of Team Ghana! We are so grateful to the families God used here to welcome us and who had so many things ready for our family. Our oldest, Lil’ Rocky, broke his arm our very first night here. We cannot imagine what it would have been like had we not had our team members here caring for our other children, driving us to the hospital, and helping us navigate our way through the system. We are truly BLESSED!

January was packed full of tying up loose ends and saying goodbyes. We were thankful for opportunities to serve at Crossroads Baptist Church prior to our coming to Ghana. The kids especially loved blitzing the neighborhoods with invitations and Gospel door hangers. It gave them a chance to really get involved.

At the end of January, we boarded our flight to Ghana. The flight was rather pleasant, well, except for Malachi’s motion sickness. We are excited about this new chapter in our lives and are thrilled to see what God has already done and what He is continuing to do here in Ghana with the Deaf.

In February, I was able to take a Deaf man named Kwame Gyeabour to a local restaurant and spend a couple hours explaining the Gospel. Kwame has been so confused by so many different religions. I am happy to report that in that restaurant, Kwame put his faith in Christ to save him. I ask your prayers for Kwame. He has been extremely faithful since our arrival and is eager to learn more about the Lord.

Also in February, I revisited the Jamasi Deaf Residential School that I had visited three years ago while on my survey trip. I was able to meet the superintendent for all of the Deaf schools in this region on this visit. He was very excited about having a Deaf pastor come to preach to the children. The new headmaster is very open to having services with the over 500 Deaf students. However, the invitation is only for an early morning service every Sunday. This would be very much a possibility once we have a vehicle. It is far away, and with public transportation, it would be impossible. Please pray with us that God would provide and lead us to the right vehicle.

Your co-laborers for Christ,

The Hall Family
