Baraka Hall Prayer Letter: Light at the End of the Tunnel of Deputation!hall1Hello from the West Coast! We are on our last stretch of deputation! As I am typing this letter, I am happy to report that we have four more meetings to go, and then we are done! HIP, HIP, HOORAY! God has been so good to us! He brought us every step of the way by providing, guiding, and protecting us!

We started off September with our dear friends and partners at Catheys Valley Baptist Church. Pastor Trujillo and his family helped us schedule a couple meetings near them. We were thrilled when Pastor Shull of First Baptist Church of Mariposa contacted us only a couple of days after presenting to let us know that they had voted to partner with us! To God be the glory!

hall2hall3Towards the end of September, we had two back-to-back conferences, with about 1,300 miles, or 22 hours of driving, in between. (Yes, you read that correctly.) We were truly blessed to be with our friends, Bro. Sam Marasco and Bro. Corey McDonald and his family, at Faith Baptist Church in Colville, Washington, for their missions conference. I enjoyed working side by side, for a few days, with co-laborers for Christ whom God has located in different parts of the world. We left Colville on Tuesday night to get to Gethsemane Baptist Church of Long Beach for the beginning of their missions conference on Thursday night. Pastor Ely Reynolds and the fantastic folks at Gethsemane were an absolute blessing to our weary family! They took really good care of us and made it so easy to share our hearts for the Deaf in Ghana. “The Gospel Begins With Go” was their theme. It was a tremendous blessing going side by side with the members of Gethsemane, telling people about the saving hope we have in our great Saviour. My wife got to share the good news with a woman named Valerie. After she put her faith in Jesus and His payment on the cross to forgive her of her sins rather than her good works, Valerie began to weep and said, “I needed this!” Hallelujah! Valerie’s name has been written in the Book of Life!

hall4hall5Please pray for us, as we are making preparations to move to Ghana. We are asking that you would prayerfully consider how you can be a part of our Start-Up Costs Fund. Our website, halls2ghana.com, has all the information for our Start-Up Costs Fund. Also, please help us pray for a vehicle, as we will need to find one there. We can’t thank you all enough for all your prayers and financial support thus far!

Your co-laborers for Christ,

The Hall Family
