Baraka Hall Prayer Letter: God Giving the Increaseb1DEAF “HEARING” THE GOOD NEWS

In September we had the opportunity to share our ministry with the wonderful folks at Crossroads of Life Baptist Church in Canton, Georgia. It was through faithful workers and one of their outreach ministries that a Deaf couple, Paul and Kathy, were brought to the last night of the missions conference. After the service I was able to share the Gospel with them. Paul completely understood and put his faith in Christ alone and not in the good works which he had previously thought would save him. “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.” (Titus 3:5-7) Amen!

GOD’S PROVISION

God has been so good to us in keeping us busy this fall. Even when things don’t go as we plan, He is always so
faithful to take care of us. Prior to our scheduled missions conference with Harvest Baptist Church of Fort Dodge, Iowa, we were informed that our very next meeting had to be cancelled. The conference at Fort Dodge was phenomenal, and God had clearly showed Himself in a mighty way. At this particular conference, we were able to meet Pastor Yoder from Bible Baptist Church of Kohoka, Missouri. Pastor Yoder asked to schedule a meeting with us and was willing to bend over backward to have us come. We were able to present that following week. We are happy to report that Pastor Yoder and the dear members of Bible Baptist Church are our new partners in reaching the Deaf in Ghana. To God be the glory!

PRAYER REQUEST

Please be in prayer for us, as we plan to stay on the West Coast for three months. God has given us several opportunities to present our ministry, and we want to be effective and efficient for our extended stay. Please pray that God fills the gaps. Holidays are not the best time for deputation meetings. Friends, if you are aware of any possibilities for our family to present our ministry, please contact me at barakahall@www.fbmi.org.
