DEPUTATION
Our deputation trails have kept us on the East Coast. We are so thankful for all of our new friends and supporting partners, as well as old friends we have a chance to catch up with on the way. This past June we had the privilege of sharing our ministry with our new friends at Solid Rock Baptist Church in their Deaf church, as well as in their hearing church. We love seeing God build strong Deaf Ministries and churches right here in America. It was a joy to spend the weekend with our new friends, Pastor Chris Harris and his family.
We also had the opportunity to present our ministry with our dear friends at Bible Baptist Church in York, Pennsylvania. Pastor Bill Schutt Jr. was my former Sunday school teacher as a teenager. We thank God for his burden for world missions and for the Deaf.
In May our team leader, Bro. Ted Speer, was passing through our area while on his furlough. We spent the afternoon with his family discussing plans and the possibilities of planting several Deaf churches. It was such a joy to hear great reports on their growing Deaf Ministry. We so look forward to joining our friends there in Ghana.
THANK YOU
We want to thank our friends at Community Baptist Church in Andalusia, Illinois. This is the church where my wife was reached as a bus kid. They were so kind to designate their Vacation Bible School offerings for a gift for our children. The kids were super thrilled to go shopping!
We also want to take a moment and say a big thanks to all the churches with mission housing. We would not be able to go as far as we have without you all. You are the vessel which God uses to sustain us. We sincerely thank God for your ministries.
PRAYER REQUEST
Thank you for all of your prayers for our family, for our safety, and for our provisions. Please don’t stop. God has been so good and gracious to us. If you could, please continue to pray for more meetings. Please pray for me, as I am calling and scheduling meetings through a third party (an interpreter). Pray that the communication would be clear. Pray that God would give me the wisdom and the words to use when scheduling. Pray that God would open opportunities for me to share our ministry as I meet new pastors.
