God is still in the soul-saving business! We continue to see souls saved, public professions, and members added. We have had 2 public professions of faith and 2 baptisms here since our last letter. Thank you for praying.
Youth Conference
Thank you also for your prayers for the first Youth Conference that we have ever hosted here. Judging from the issues dealt with and the decisions made, this conference was a complete success. Here we and other Baptist pastors, workers, and young people from around the country were presented with an exciting evangelist opportunity by the conference speakers, who were Assistant Pastor Timothy Carte (Crown College, Powell, Tennessee) and Assistant Pastor Thomas Green (Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, Oliver Springs, Tennessee).
Prayer Requests
In the wake of the conference, we will be taking a step of faith and will ask permission at the local public school to start a Bible Club there. Please pray. This is a delicate, sensitive matter that can easily stir up deep-seated religious jealousy among Guatemalan people. Pray that God will keep that under control and that He will provide us with faithful, reliable, and competent workers from our church who will correctly operate important evangelist work.
Medical
I want to thank you for your prayers for my foot, which I mentioned in my last prayer letter. My foot pain has diminished to the point where I am hoping that the surgery I planned on having will be unnecessary. Please keep praying for my foot. Thank you for your prayers and support. May the Lord bless all.

Dios todavia esta en el negocio de salvar almas! Seguimos viendo personas salvas, profesiones de fe y miembros agregados a la iglesia. Hemos tenido 2 profesiones publicas de fe y 2 bautismos desde nuestra ultima carta que enviamos. Gracias por sus oraciones.
Conferencia de Jovenes
Gracias por sus oraciones por nuestra conferencia de jovenes que tuvimos. Tuvimos problemas, nos cortaron el agua, problemas con el transporte sin embargo esta conferencia fue un exito completo.
Nosotros, pastores, trabajadores y jovenes bautistas del pais tuvieron la oportunidad de escuchar a nuestros anfitriones de nuestra conferencia. Pastores asistentes Timothy Carte (Crown College, Powell, Tennessee) Thomas Green (Mount Pisgah Baptist Church, Oliver Springs, Tennessee).
Peticion de Oracion
A raiz de la conferencia, daremos un paso de fe; pediremos permiso en la escuela publica local para iniciar un Club Biblico alli. Este es un asunto delicado que puede despertar a los religiosos profundamente arraigados, los celos entre el pueblo catolico guatemalteco. Por favor oren para que Dios mantenga eso a un lado y que nos provea trabajadores fieles, realistas y competentes de nuestra iglesia que operen correctamente esta importante obra evangelista.
Asunto Medico
Quiero agradecerles sus oraciones por mi pie, que mecione en mi ultima carta de oracion. El dolor de mi pie ha disminuido hasta el punto que espero que la cirugia que planee no se llegue a realizar. Por favor continue orando por mi pie. Gracias por sus oraciones y apoyo financiero. Que el SENOR les bendiga a todos.
