Andy Richey Prayer Letter: Hitting the Ground RunningWe hit the ground running upon returning from Kenya, the highlights of which I shared in the last update. With just a few days of preparation, we embarked on two months of non-stop travel to be in many wonderful and exciting missions conferences in Mississippi, West Virginia, Oklahoma, North Carolina, and Illinois. Many have committed to partner with us in prayer and several in monthly financial support. To new and current supporters and partners alike, THANK YOU, THANK, YOU, THANK YOU! It is a joy to work together, reaping eternal fruit in service to our Saviour.

On a personal note, we had a great November. We celebrated Thanksgiving with our family and two-month-old grandson, which we plan on being our last, intending to be living in East Africa by this time next year. We also celebrated our 29th anniversary. God has been so good to me in providing a loving and sacrificial helpmeet in Connie. I could not survive life, let alone being a missionary, without her.

“And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.” (II Timothy 2:2)

Our ministry is to train and assist national men to start and pastor many churches, multiplying our efforts to reach the lost in many areas simultaneously. With each of the 13 churches that have been started so far, the reality of the tremendous need continues to make itself real, and my burden continues to grow. Even while we are in the U.S. continuing to raise the needed support to make a permanent move to Africa, we stay in contact with our young churches and converts. They need much prayer and counsel as they grow spiritually and grow their churches through reaching the lost. Here is an exciting report from a Kenyan pastor that we are working with:

To Missionary Andy Richey,
We are glad to salute you Bro. Andy in JESUS Name, hope you are doing well with all church brethren and your beloved family. We want to thank you for your prayer to our church always, we real thank GOD for all effort to Kenya church. This month we have seen church growing. Also we are receiving new people in church after the church conference we had this month with pastor Jeremiah from Mombasa and many pastors including Kibera church. We had six family that received Jesus glory to GOD for that. Thanks for praying for us every day.
Thank you our missionary ANDY, pass our greeting to your family and all saints.
