Dear Pastor and Friends,
“They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.” (Psalm 126:5-6)
What a joy it is to delight in the salvation of people who are simply waiting for someone to show them the truth of the Gospel! We have been rejoicing the past number of weeks. Sonia, a single mom with young children, and Christine, a young, new mom, could not have been more welcoming of the truth when we knocked on their doors. They both trusted Christ.
Merely in response to a receiving a church flyer in her mailbox one day, Val showed up at one of our Sunday services. Several weeks ago she had lost her husband. Praise God! The flyer came to her at the right time. Laura was able to lead her through the Romans Road after the preaching service.
Prayer Points:
• Follow-up on Val has been encouraging, but please pray that she returns to church soon. She wants to bring her daughter.
• Continue to pray for our Chinese friends to understand the Gospel and be saved. A few weeks ago, four of them visited our church service. Some have moved on. Others are doing long hours of seasonal work, and it is a challenge to make contact with them.
• Continue to pray for Pastor Westbrook to be healed from acute vestibular neuronitis.
