Andres Nunez Prayer Letter: Let Us Be an Example for Others During These Difficult TimesThank you, dear friends, for your prayers. We are doing well. My wife is staying with my two daughters in Florida. They are taking all the precautions regarding the Coronavirus. I’m also taking care of myself, but I am a little bit lonely. When I did not have my wife next to me before, it was kind of okay because it was planned. However, now with not being able to go to church and fellowship, preach, or go soul winning for more than a month, it is a very unstable situation.

The church is doing well. Everybody is taking care of themselves. We are keeping in contact by phone, which is all we can do, and we are praying for each other.

Please pray for those who had left the country; most of them have lost their jobs. They used to help their families here in Venezuela, but now they cannot even help themselves.

The situation in Venezuela with the Coronavirus is that if you get infected, there is not a decent hospital to go to. Another situation is with the food. We have food, but the prices are very high. People are having a difficult time with that. Another situation is gas. We used to have the cheapest gas in the world; now it is the most expensive. It is $6.00 a gallon, and we have to pay in dollars. I have a half a tank of gas in my car. I do not drive my car; I am saving it for emergencies only. I do my shopping by foot. It is kind of risky, but that is all I can do for now.

At the beginning when people started talking about the Coronavirus, I went to the store to do some shopping, and I wore a mask. When it was time for me to pay, the cashier was not wearing a mask. I asked her for her mask, and she said that she was a Christian and was counting on the Lord for her protection. Later I heard about all the deaths of people everywhere. I said to myself, I trust the Lord, too; but the Lord has given us wisdom. Let us use that wisdom to keep serving the Lord one more day, one more month, and one more year. Protect yourself and your family, and be an example for others. Let’s keep praying for each other always. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
The church had 608 souls saved and 2 baptisms during the last 3 months.
Praise the Lord! Amen!

Sincerely,
