At the age of five in our home in Findlay, Ohio, I asked Jesus to save me. My parents gave me the privilege of being reared in a Christian home. I attended a Christian school until the sixth grade and then a public school until the end of my junior year. I was home-schooled my senior year.

In January of 1997, God called me to preach. In March of the same year, I went to Pastors’ School for the first time. It was there that God led me to Hyles-Anderson College to prepare for the ministry. During the spring semester of 1999 in my freshman year at college, I was privileged to hear Brother Mark Bachman preach in the college’s Missions Conference. Under his preaching, I surrendered to go to England as a missionary.

After graduating Bible college in 2002, Holly and I stayed in the Crown Point area until she graduated the following May. In 2003 Holly and I moved to Delaware, OH to work in the ministry of our home church, Grace Baptist Church. One year later we began deputation. In February, 2009, we moved to England and started Grace Baptist Church in north London in October of the same year.

In May 2016, Skelmersdale Baptist Church, called me as pastor. SBC has seen God open amazing doors for them. The council has given us a building for the cost of $1.75 a year! When we came there was 9 others in attendance, but since then God has grown His church amazingly. We are finishing a building project to expand our auditorium to accommodate over 75 people. We are excited about what God is doing and thrilled to serve these amazing people in the Liverpool area! Pray for us as we continue training nationals to start independent Baptist church across England and the world.

My life’s verses are Philippians 1:20-21  According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death. For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

Justin Williams Prayer Letter: Jesus Saves!

Justin Williams Prayer Letter: Jesus Saves!Thank you for being faithful throughout this year. The year 2020 has certainly been different than we all had planned, but we praise God for His unchanging faithfulness, no matter the season of life or ministry. God has taught us through this time, and we desire to be pruned, molded, and changed to the image of Jesus Christ.

In July, we were able to hold in-person services again. The services look different now with social-distancing measures in place, masks, and pre-booking seats for the service. God’s people have stayed faithful, as we meet in person on Sundays only at this time and livestream the services on Wednesdays.

For years we have been praying for a lady named Barbara. Alec, one of her sons, got saved years ago, married a lady from the States, and lives in the States. When Alec and/or his family visit his mother, often I would meet with them and present the Gospel to Barbara. Her time left in life was coming to an end, but she continued to reject Christ as Saviour. We joined Alec and his family in prayer that Barbara would get saved.

Later in the evening on the first Sunday in August, I received a message from Alec, stating that there wasn’t much time left for Barbara, and she had asked for me to come and tell her the Gospel one more time. Shortly afterwards, I arrived at Barbara’s home and told her the Gospel. She was in much pain, but in spite of her pain, she listened to the Gospel. Alec watched, through Skype, the conversation as I asked Barbara if she would like to ask Jesus to be her Saviour. Barbara said, “Yes, I want to be saved.” Barbara, through pain, asked Jesus to save her!

The family testified that after Barbara got saved, it was like a peace came and flooded her soul and body. She was calm for the next three days before she passed from death to eternal life with her Saviour, Jesus Christ. Praise God for His saving grace!

Please pray for my family and me. God has been so good to us, and we are grateful for His provision. Pray for faithful support, knowledge for our boys—as all of them are now in school, wisdom, and instruction in the days ahead. Pray for Skelmersdale Baptist Church and the ministry as we press forward with the Gospel. We are praying for you.

Rejoicing in the Lord,

Justin, Holly, David, Jonathan, Nathan, and Samuel Williams
