Ben and Becky Turner Health Update
Yesterday afternoon, Becky and I had an appointment with my oncologist. The following are several things she mentioned during the appointment:
1. There is only a little bit of activity shown on the PET scan where the plasmacytoma (tumor) was. The doctor said it could possibly be inflammation, but not sure. Another PET scan will be done in 4 months. No additional treatments needed. PRAISE
2. Sarcoidosis did not show up anywhere on the PET scan. PRAISE
3. Nothing new showed up on the recent MRI of the brain. PRAISE
4. Blood work from Tuesday came back normal. PRAISE
5. Nerve damage to the feet could likely be irreversible…medically speaking.
6. Neuropathy symptoms could possibly go away in time since the sarcoidosis has disappeared.
