Team Ghana Update: New Bible College Students
We thank the Lord for the influence He has given us through our Bible college. Of course, we have had many students from Ghana; in addition, we have enrolled students from Liberia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, Benin, Kenya, Equatorial Guinea, Zambia, and Togo. We have graduates serving in Ghana, Liberia, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, Equatorial Guinea, and Nigeria.
Our January update was about a visit that one of our Bible college students made to his home country of Liberia. We are bringing your attention to our Bible college once again because of the great number of new students God has brought our way these last two months. We praise Him for that!
The picture (below) is of Brother Sarver and me with TEN students who just enrolled. Please let me introduce you briefly to each one. From left to right, we have Truth, Sam, Charles, Emmanuel, Bazito, Jonathan, another Emmanuel, Jennifer, Josiah, and Martin.
• Truth is from the Democratic Republic of the Congo. His father, January Demurhu, pastors there.
• Sam, Bazito, Jonathan, and Josiah are all from the ministry of our graduate, Pastor George Menyon, who pastors the Grandview Baptist Church in Monrovia, Liberia.
• Charles has been a part of our church for ten years. He drives one of the buses for our Christian school, and he serves as a bus captain and usher.
• The first Emmanuel is from our brand-new church plant in Offinso, which is pastored by our graduate, Otchere Boachie.
• The second Emmanuel is from Liberia. He would like to join our Faithful Men program (a type of work scholarship, as described in our update last month); but, at present, we do not have room in our dorms.
• Jennifer is the wife of our college student Francis. This couple joined our church last year.
• Martin is one of the key men at our church plant in Mamponteng, which is pastored by Kingsley Addai.
Please pray for God to continue to send us the right students to be trained for the ministry. We need funds for expansion. If you would like to help with this need, please mark your donation for “6181–Ghana Bible College.” Thank you for your prayers and continued support. God is working!
Yours for souls,
Ted Speer
