“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:8-9)
We hope that each of you is enjoying a blessed day. May we all seek to fulfill the will of our wonderful God, following His higher way to love and life.
For every church, family, and individual who has supported us over the years, we cannot thank you enough. We have been able to fly to several countries, sharing the love of Jesus with many souls living in hopelessness and darkness. This happened in no small part because of your sacrifice and care.
Right after the horrible earthquake that devastated Haiti in 2010, we took our first flights into Haiti to reach the uttermost. Since then, through the efforts of Raise Up Haiti and ACE Mission Aviators, we have continued our mission aviation efforts. We have been able to fly several missions, as well as help train and assist fellow mission aviators. In 2012, we partnered with and became official FBMI missionaries, as they desired to bring mission aviators to their mission teams. Our hope was to establish a mission aviation base with Team Peru and then branch out from there.
Over the years, it has become apparent that this will not happen in the near future. The challenges have been many, but God has been faithful each step of the way. As members at FBC, where I serve as a deacon and where both Laura and I sing in the choir, we plan to continue as volunteers with any mission aviation projects FBMI may do in the future.
Recently a ministry called MissionAero has been started by First Baptist Church (https://missionaero.org/). This ministry helps train and inspire future mission aviators and Christian leaders. Although this was not our original plan we are excited about the future of this program and the potential it has to bring light to the uttermost. We would like to encourage you to send our support to this project. The money raised does not pay salaries but directly helps impact souls. We hope that many pastors and individuals will catch the vision for this unique mission aviation opportunity.
With my work allowing me to fly for nearly free around the world, the doors have opened to be able to visit and help missionaries and national pastors around the world that we never imagined being able to reach. We plan to continue to do trips to help reach the uttermost and establish relationships that will help advance the cause of Christ through mission aviation.
If you have any questions or concerns about these changes or if you want to know how you can better assist in reaching the uttermost, please feel free to reach out to us.
Thank you for all your love and support,
Mark and Laura Siegwart
