We are a soul winning ministry reaching the city of Santa Ana, the second largest city in the country of El Salvador. We want to reach the entire nation by training national preacher boys to start churches in every surrounding area and, eventually, all over the nation. To this end was the Bible institute started. We are now extending our outreach into the entire Central American region by a biannual Pastor´s Conference held in our church. God has allowed us the blessing of now seeing our ministry being led by those who were originally reached through our ministry.

Henry Gonzalez Prayer Letter: Victories, Encouragement, and Joy!

Henry Gonzalez Prayer Letter: Victories, Encouragement, and Joy!Greetings from El Salvador! Hasn’t God been good to us this past 2019?! Among the great challenges, difficulties, and heartbreaks, God has intermingled victories, encouragement, and joy like only He can do.

Every two years, our church is honored to host the Fuegos de Evangelismo conference for Central America. Our theme for the conference this past December was “That Not One Should Perish.” As I have mentioned before, one of the greatest blessings in hosting this conference is observing how the church members get so involved and are encouraged to increase their service to God. The average nightly attendance was 265, including children. The preaching was incredible. The fellowship our family was able to enjoy with the guest speakers was encouraging. We are thankful that we ended 2019 with this conference.

We were also privileged to have our own Dr. Daniel Siemer visiting with us for 10 days. The investment he and Mrs. Siemer have made in our ministry here from the very beginning has been transforming for us. We were so happy to have him here with us. He gave us great insight on accomplishing some short- and long-term goals in the ministry here in Santa Ana.

This was our first Christmas to spend away from Daniel, Megan, Brenda, and Joel. Just Grace, Tammie, and I spent Christmas together. The nest is shrinking, and it required some emotional adjustments for sure, but we enjoyed fellowship with some missionaries we invited to our home for Christmas.

We are 18 days away from the start of the third year of the Christian school. We greatly need your prayers for this baby ministry. Please pray that the paperwork with the government Ministry of Education will be processed in a timely manner, so that we will be able to open up to the public in January 2021. In the next few weeks, we will be presenting you with a couple of opportunities to invest in this new ministry. We are very excited about this!

In 2019, we were able to present the Gospel to 14,250 people through personal soul-winning and evangelism efforts. We had 10,876 of these make a profession of faith in Jesus Christ as their Saviour. Thank you for investing prayer and for sacrificially giving to this work.

We look forward to 2020. The theme of the year is “Vision 2020.” Each month we are focusing on different areas of ministry: church groups, city, neighborhoods, country, family, marriage, children, young people, teachers, parents, etc. During the month of January, we are focusing on Bible reading, prayer, and Bible study. The origins of the Spanish translation of the Bible will be taught in Sunday school, as well as a few methods of Bible study and reading. Please pray that much fruit for eternity will come from the efforts put forth this year. To God be the glory!

Your friend,

Henry Gonzalez
