Sam Marasco Prayer Letter: God's Blessingsare about halfway through a two-month trip away from our base in Northwest Indiana. We have been in some exciting churches in Indiana, South Carolina, Georgia, Arizona, Nevada, and now California. We are thankful to report we have reached 70% of our needed support goal, with about another 10% committed. Praise the Lord! We have a full schedule into the summer and are continuing to book meetings into the fall, with the caveat that we may be gone by then.

We are thankful for the Lord allowing us to see around a dozen souls saved over the Christmas break at my grandpa’s nursing home and during personal soul winning. One of the highlights was our middle son Rocky coming to Christ after the nursing home service, and then the following week, I had the privilege to baptize him. What an awesome God we serve! We are thankful for answered prayer regarding his salvation. Please pray for us as we disciple our boys for the Lord.

I wanted to share another blessing with you. A pastor friend of mine, Brian Bussey, is a fine craftsman, and he offered to build us a pulpit for our new church plant. I talked to a man who was selling several different kinds of wood, and when he found out that I needed the wood for a pulpit, he told me to come and get what I needed. He gave me nearly 30 board feet of quality wood for the project!

Please pray for the Lord’s leading and provision regarding a family who recently contacted me and shared with me their burden for reaching the military people on our island. This family has expressed an interest in working with us and our church plant. Pray that the Lord would work out the necessary details and give them and us confirmation regarding His perfect will. It would be another answer to prayer for us to have another solid family join the team. Thank you once again for your prayer and graciousness to our ministry for Christ.

Sincerely,

The Marasco Family

Prayer Requests

• Please pray for us, as we will be traveling to quite a few states these next few months. Pray for traveling mercies, and pray that we will be a blessing to the churches we visit.
• Please pray for us to be soul-conscious, and pray that God’s power will be evident in our lives.
• Please pray for the boys’ schooling. We are homeschooling Sammy (1st grade) and Rocky (K-5).
• Please pray for items needed for the upcoming church plant: tracts, start-up brochures, chairs, an electric piano, and a 15-passenger van/shuttle bus. We will be shipping a 40-foot container to transport these items, a few personal items, and a vehicle.
