Osmin Gutierrez Prayer Letter: Our Building Is Almost Finished!I pray this letter finds you well. Things are going well here in Honduras. We are almost finished with our building. We polished and painted the walls, put up the electrical wiring, and are putting in the doors right now. We just need to put a sidewalk around the building, put tile on the floors, and build a platform. Please pray that God will provide the rest of the money for these projects. After so many years of meeting under a pavilion, it’s surely nice to meet in our own nice building. Thank God for His goodness and faithfulness to us.

We are also reaching and building people in Honduras. Recently three kids named Alex, Joselyn, and Diego, who live around the church, started attending Sunday school. I visited their house, and five of their family members trusted Christ as their Saviour. While there, I found out that Alex had just finished sixth grade and had to quit school because of money issues. I told our church about the need, and we were able to buy uniforms, shoes, and school supplies for Alex and school supplies for Diego, Joselyn, and also a cousin named Hector. We saw Joselyn’s mom on the street the other day, and she told us how Joselyn loves church and encourages her to finish her work early so that she can come to church with her and meet her Sunday school teacher (my wife). One of the things my wife and I noticed while visiting this kids’ home was that even though they are poor, they are very, very clean. They are great kids! I believe God is using them in a great way, as they already are bringing their friends to church. Thank you for allowing us to be here and allowing us to make a difference in children like Alex, Joselyn, and Diego.

In January, a missionary friend unfortunately had to leave the field. He offered to allow us to take over that ministry. We felt it was our duty to keep that ministry going. The church is in Campamento, a town of about 21,000 people located about 60 miles from us. He left a half-finished building and a handful of people. Though we are grateful for the privilege of doing more for God, please help us pray for this ministry, as it has already stretched our schedule and budget.

Thank you for your prayers and financial support. May God bless you and use you.

Truly,

Osmin Gutierrez
