Osmin Gutierrez Prayer Letter: The Ministry Continues to Go ForwardI pray this letter finds you well. The ministry continues to go forward here in Honduras. We are thanking God for His provision. God provided the funds for the construction of our storage room/guard sleeping quarters/water tank. We spent almost $8,000 on this 10-foot by 20-foot building. It is scary to see how expensive it is to build, as we look forward to starting construction on our church building, but we know God will continue to provide. I would like to thank those of you who have given special offerings to help us with construction.

God also provided somebody to help us take care of our property. Bro. Abner, whose dad is a pastor, was planning on moving to the capital to attend a local university and was looking for a place to stay. I told him he could stay at the church, and we would also give him a monthly offering. He has a great attitude and has been a great addition to our church. He knows how to sing and play several instruments; he sometimes sings specials for church and is working with our choir.

God also provided $800 for a generator, which was greatly needed to run our water well, since we have no electricity at the church. Our water well is up and running. We set up a faucet to the street. This is for people around our church who have no running water in their homes to come and get water for themselves and their families.

Our family is doing well. My wife’s health has improved and is almost back to normal after having back surgery and chemo last year. My boys are growing quickly. Juan is a junior, Gerson is a sophomore, and Timothy is a 7th grader. They are busy with school, music classes, and serving the Lord on the weekends. Juan teaches the Bible Club on Saturdays and a Sunday school class at church. Gerson and Timothy help with the music by playing the guitar.

Thank you for your prayers and financial support.

Truly,

Osmin Gutierrez
