Ghana National Pastor Spotlight: "It is Amazing What God Will Do With the Gospel"You and your church have a part in the work God is doing through our church plants. Here are testimonies from three of the men with whom we are privileged to partner. Please pray for them and their ministries.

Pastor Kingsley Addai

“Mr. Paul Amoako is an herbal doctor and also an assistant pastor of a Charismatic church. He was invited by a friend to our church. After the service, I asked him if he was 100% sure of his salvation and why he thought he would go to Heaven. He was trusting in his good works, so I decided to show him from the Bible what God says. Praise God, he realized he was wrong and trusted Christ alone to save him! He has been coming to our church for almost month now and is working on our discipleship lessons. Keep praying that God will work in his heart to be faithful to church and to take the Gospel out to others also.” – Fundamental Baptist Church, Mamponteng, Kumasi, Ashanti Region, Ghana [Pastor Addai graduated from our Bible college in February 2018. He started the church in Mamponteng in 2019.]

Pastor Rexford Aning

“Peter Acheampong came to me few weeks ago. Peter has been a part of our church from day one. He and his wife Victoria recently had a baby boy. He said, ‘Pastor, I want you to organize a naming ceremony for our baby boy, and I want you to conduct it.’ He added, ‘I am going to invite lots of people to come.’ Then he said, ‘Pastor, I want to ask you a favor. Would you preach on salvation that day?’ We held the ceremony last week. About 30 people came. Some of them made public decisions to trust Christ. Also, Peter has spoken to me this week about others who were thanking him for inviting them because of the Gospel message. It is amazing what God will do with the Gospel.

Please pray for my health that will heal me quickly. [Pastor Rexford has been struggling with a stomach ulcer.] Despite my health, I still go out soul winning as much as I can. I’ve had seven people ask Jesus to save them since last week. Pray for the new believers in our church to grow in the Lord.” – Fundamental Baptist Church, Fiapre, Sunyani, Ghana [Pastor Aning graduated from our Bible college in June 2012. He started the church in Fiapre in October 2013.]

Pastor Abraham Subui

“I met Amos one day as I was going to church. The question I asked him was, ‘Are you sure that if you died today you would go to Heaven?’ He told me that he did not know and that only God knows. The second question I asked him was, ‘Do you want to know?’ Then he said, ‘Yes.’ I shared with him the Gospel, and he testified that he had never heard this truth before in his church. He was attending a Roman Catholic church. He promised to come to church the following Sunday. He came, made a public profession, and gave the glory to God for his salvation.” – Salvation Baptist Church, Donkro Nkwanta, Bono East Region, Ghana [Pastor Subui received his bachelor’s degree from our Bible college in February 2020.]
