Zach Foust Prayer Letter: Goldfish SundayAs spring arrives here in Lima, Peru, we find ourselves praising God for the new growth that we see each week in the families that attend our churches. We are seeing both spiritual and numerical growth in our church in San Gabriel. Our first church plant in Chorrillos continues to grow under the leadership of Pastor Dan Hubbard and his team of workers. The church plant in Surco is growing with new Bible studies and souls saved each week. One of the churches in San Genaro recently celebrated their one-year anniversary with more than 100 people present. Praise God for this young church, which is led by Bro. Luis who was saved in the church in Chorrillos in its beginning stages! We are thankful for the growth in these churches!

In San Gabriel, more than 60 people have trusted Christ since our last prayer letter. Several more soul winners have been trained, and we rejoice to see God working in the lives of our people as they assume a burden for lost souls. Please pray with us that more people will take up the burden of soul winning and reaching their community.

We started our Spring Program in our church in San Gabriel two weeks ago with Goldfish Sunday! We had such a good time giving a goldfish to each child who attended. Even the adults got excited, and we had several visitors in the adult service as well. The following week we had church on Saturday night because of an election on Sunday which prohibits church services during the day on Sunday. We showed the movie The Burning Hell. We had 16 visitors and 10 people trust Christ that evening. We will continue the program with 4 more weeks and will give you an update in our next prayer letter. Please pray for the Spring Program; pray that God would bless with souls saved and added to the church.

Our family will be in the States for a brief furlough from November 17-December 29. I will be back in Peru to care for the church from December 5-15; however we have 4 Sundays available if you are interested in having us give your church an update. We will be primarily in the Midwest region and would love to greet you if possible. Please let us know if we can serve you during this time. May God richly bless you.

His for souls,

Zach and Karin Foust, Zachary, C.J., and Logan
