East to West

The summer has flown by very quickly! In August and September, God enabled us to help churches from Indiana to Maryland. Then we headed west, helping churches in Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana. We drove 5,597 miles and helped 24 churches.

Thank you so much for your prayers! We blew a tire on our utility truck while pulling it across Wyoming. We got it safely off the road. To be able to get it to the next town for new tires, I put a spare on it. God was watching over us. He is so good to us! We are so very thankful for your prayers!

Buses Raised Up

In August we had a blessed time working with Pastor William Tyson at Woodlawn Baptist Church in Bowie, Maryland. We were able to help their bus director, Brother Shank, and their good men and teens paint and fix five buses. The buses had been sitting for a few years. Praise the Lord! They are now up and running and picking up children and adults for Sunday school. While there we had the privilege of preaching and teaching on the Bus Ministry. Brother Shank and his wife Rachel took us on an inspiring evening tour of Washington D.C.

The Angels Rejoiced

God allowed us to help Bible Baptist Church in York, Pennsylvania. It was a joy for us to see Pastor Bill and Nikki Schutt doing a fine job there. While I was visiting with one of his bus captains, Jacob, we had the privilege of seeing a girl on Jacob’s bus route accept Christ as her own personal Saviour. We and the angels were rejoicing over another teen soul who had trusted Christ and is ready for Heaven!

Father-Son Soul Winning

While home at First Baptist Church, I had the honor of going to Fisherman’s Club soul winning with my son, James David. That day God gave us 4 precious souls who, after we shared the Gospel with them, accepted the Lord Jesus Christ. We were on shouting grounds! It so warms my heart to see my son bringing others to Christ. “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.” (III John 4)

Our Prayer Requests

Please pray (1) that God will enable us to win more bus parents and bus kids to the Lord as we see the day approaching, (2) that God will burden the hearts of more mechanics to become missionaries and serve our Bus Ministries around our country and other countries, and (3) that more mechanics and CDL drivers will volunteer to help their own churches with their Bus Ministries.

Thank you for your faithful prayers for us. Those of who have partnered with us financially, thank you for your support and for your faith in our “Keep the Buses Rolling” Ministry. Please call us at 219-689-0011 if you have any mechanical or Bus Ministry needs at all.

Yours for souls,

Warren & Jary Lynn Storm
