Robert Tirado Prayer Letter: New OpportunitiesPRAISE

“What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.” (Philippians 1:18) Our church moved to its new location thirteen months ago due to the fact that it was robbed on two separate occasions. The move has resulted in the opportunity to preach Christ to more people. Our church is near a heavily congested area called Esquina Caliente, which means “The Hot Corner.” We continue to preach Christ in our first location of El Café and have expanded into reaching the communities of Ensanche Altagracia (our current location), La Gloria, and Abanico.

PRAYER

Please pray that as God gives us more souls to reach with the Gospel that more souls would be saved, baptized, and would join us in reaching the multitudes that are without Jesus. In the coming weeks, our Sunday school classes will be having a campaign to invite visitors so as to grow the classes. I would like to make a personal prayer request for the health of my mother Guadalupe. Angela, Elisabeth, and I spent the last two weeks of September in Puerto Rico helping my parents due to my mother’s health issues. My three sisters also spent quite a bit of time in Puerto Rico attending to our parents. Please also pray for my father Ramon as he takes care of his wife of over 59 years.

GRATITUDE

My family and I are grateful for your faithfulness in praying and giving to our ministry in the Dominican Republic. Thank you for your many encouraging emails, notes, and cards in remembrance of our birthdays and anniversaries. I would like to thank Pastor Frank Wood and the good people of Whittier Lane Baptist Church for their generous donation of $1000 towards our church van fund. Having our own van would allow us to reach more people for Christ and be able to transport them to our church services. My prayer is that our loving and gracious God would continue to richly bless you and yours.

For souls,

Roberto Tirado
