It was so nice to be able to speak to so many of you over the phone recently. It was such a blessing to hear how the Lord is working in your lives, as well as in your churches. We are encouraged to know that God’s will is being accomplished all around the globe.
Family Prayer Petitions
We appreciate your continued prayers for our family concerning Irish immigration. As you have read through our prayer letters, it has been a challenge for us for some time now. We are asking prayer for direction regarding the following: First, please ask God to clearly open the door to Ireland for our family regarding our immigration status. We know that, “The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD,” We are praying diligently that it would be His will that we be allowed to return full-time. Nevertheless, we must also bring it before the Throne of Grace and ask if it be the Lord’s will if should continue on in the ministry with the current permissions that we can obtain from Ireland. These timeframes in the country are shorter than we would like, but we have experienced many doors open around the country of Ireland to us and have served in various capacities and ministries since we’ve been forced to make trips over. Would it be the Lord’s will that we continue in this direction? We decided many years ago that we were going to be obedient to His will for our lives. If this is what He would want for us, we want to obey Him. Finally, we must ask, and have asked, our supporters to please pray that God would make it very clear to us if He would want us to serve on another field of service.
We have been asking God for wisdom in these areas and sincerely ask that you join us with these requests. We appreciate all the prayers you have offered up for us over the years, and we ask you to join us once again with these very important requests. Thank you for your faithfulness in taking these petitions to the Lord.
2016 – A Great Door of Opportunity
We have recently had a door of opportunity open for us to join a short-term mission team that will be going to Brazil for an Olympic outreach in the city of Rio. Lord willing, I will be in Brazil this August for preaching, soul winning, mass Scripture distribution, and tract canvassing, as well as many other opportunities to get the Gospel out to as many needy people as possible. If you remember, back to 2012, I had the opportunity to team up with the Wings Bearing Precious Seed Ministry in London, England, during the Olympics. This proved to be greatly used of the Lord in getting out more than 20,000 John and Romans booklets and seeing many souls saved. We also hosted a group in Ireland from the Wings Bearing Precious Seed Ministry in 2013. I am very excited to join them this third time to share the Gospel. Please pray that many will receive Christ and the Scriptures during this outreach.
Ireland DVD Distribution
We are excited about what God has done with the DVD distribution in Ireland. We have currently produced and distributed 6,000 of the Gospel DVDs and would love to complete this project this year. We still have 4,000 more to distribute and are raising funds along the way to do this. We have been ordering them in batches of 1,000, but we would love to order all 4,000 now to have a mass distribution in Ireland this fall. If the Lord moves in your heart, can you please help us with this? We need to raise $4,400 to produce and have them shipped to Ireland in time for canvassing.
Please continue pray for those in Ireland who have had the opportunity to hear the Gospel. We love and appreciate all of you and continue to covet your prayers. Thank you for the opportunity to serve as partners in reaching the lost of this world for Christ.
