During our travels, we sometimes get to participate in things that we have never had the opportunity to do before. This time it was putting together John and Romans booklets with Central Baptist Church in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky. The goal for the day was 10,800 booklets and we were able to help them in achieving that goal.
We were also able to help with a week long revival meeting in London Baptist Church in London, KY. This church is currently looking for a new pastor and was down to a handful of members. With help from Central Baptist Church and several other local churches, attendance during the revival came up to 51 at the peak and greatly encouraged the people of London Baptist Church. Since the revival meeting, they have been seeing attendance of about 20 people with new visitors coming each week. While passing out fliers, I was able to lead Danny to Jesus. There were 17 saved throughout the week due to the revival meeting.
We have traveled in Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky since our last letter and have been privileged to meet many new friends. Please pray for us as we prepare for our upcoming 3 month trip to Peru in early 2015. We are excited to be able to spend some time with the team and the members of our churches in Peru. I will be focusing on my language studies and would appreciate specific prayers for this studying.
